Introducing Outland

The Outland Way

Pre - Adventure
Prior to every trip - we send out an equipment list of what to wear and bring.

Small Groups
The very nature of an Outland Expedition lends itself to small groups. Encountering places of uncommon beauty, the experience is enhanced with a small number of like-minded individuals.

Friendly Guides
Trust and confidence in your guide are essential. All our leaders are not only professionals with experience and accredited guide training; they are friendly and sensitive instructors. Your safety and enjoyment are their priorities. Whether helping you make that first abseil, guiding you down a raging white water.

Equipment
All our gear is of the highest quality and just about everything is provided - tents, wetsuits and helmets - all you need to bring is your sense of adventure. Gear lists suggesting what you should wear are included in the trip notes sent to you when you book. These trip notes also contain extensive details on the itineraries, meeting points and other information to help you prepare for your expedition.

The gear we provide you is your lifeline, so we use only the best . We use and recommend, Bluewater and Edelrid ropes, Petzl technical equipment, HB carabineers, Suunto and Silva compasses, Motorola Two-Way radios, Iridium Satellite Phone and KTi EPIRBs.

Grades & Trip Difficulty
The majority of our trips are designed for people with none, or lots of outdoor experience - just a desire for fun and adventure is all you need.

Transport
On local trips, most of our clients meet at the cliff or canyon (café or hotel). However, if you require transport, just phone or email the office and we can easily arrange a lift for you.
